Nigerian popular singer, Paul Okoye better known as Rudeboy has lamented on the scarcity of naira note affecting Nigerians since after the implementation of the naira redesign policy on N200, N500 and N1000 notes.

The award winning singer in his instagram story on Thursday shared the unbelievable experience he had after exchanged 40k for 70k because he needed to urgently pay for a visa fee in an embassy.

According to his story, this Online Newspaper understands that the embassy requested that the fee should be paid in cash and he (Paul) had no option but to accept the exchange rate.

The father of three with disbelief admitted that “Nigeria is breaking new records” as citizens now exchange naira for naira.

He wrote; “Omoh!!! I buy money today”

“Just because I have to pay for a certain visa fee in an embassy and it has to be paid in cash.

“Joke apart, I bought 40k with 70k. Aahhhh!!!!!!! Naija breaking new records”
