‘Nigeria Will Be Peaceful, No More Death’ — First Lady, Remi Tinubu Prays

• First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has declared that Nigeria will become a peaceful, blessed and fruitful nation, offering prayers for the country during the inauguration of a new water supply project in the Federal Capital Territory.

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has declared that the country will be peaceful, blessed and fruitful, saying the nation will no longer experience barrenness.

Mrs Tinubu made the declaration on Tuesday during the commissioning of the Bwari Satellite Town Water Supply Network in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), one of the projects inaugurated to mark President Bola Tinubu’s third anniversary in office.

Representing President Bola Tinubu at the event, the First Lady offered prayers for the nation while reading from the Bible, specifically 2 Kings 2:19–21.

Using the newly commissioned water project as a point of contact, she prayed for healing, prosperity and peace across Nigeria.

“As a minister of God, I would like to add a scripture from the Bible, 2 Kings 2:19–21. I use this water project as a point of contact to pray for our nation. Thus says the Lord, ‘I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barren land.’ Our nation shall be peaceful, blessed and fruitful in Jesus’ name,” she said.

The First Lady also prayed for the Federal Capital Territory and the country, asking for God’s continued blessings upon Nigeria.

The Bwari Satellite Town Water Supply Network is among several infrastructure projects commissioned by the Federal Government as part of activities marking President Tinubu’s third year in office.
