‘Turn Around I’m Not Home’, Davido Tells Young Man Embarking On A Journey From Benue To Lagos To See Him

Award-winning Afrobeats singer, Davido has replied a young Northerner who embarked on a journey to see him.

According to reports, the young man left Benue for Lagos on a bicycle to see the Afrobeat singer, who is one of his favorites. The young man is currently on Day 8.

“A young man called @emmiwuks embarked on a Benue to Lagos on a bicycle to meet #Afrobeat Superstar @davido. He is currently on Day 8 today”.

Reacting to it, Davido instructed him to return home as he isn’t at his Lagos mansion.

This is surprising as Davido is well known to be sweet to his fans.

Early this year, Davido blessed a die-hard fan with N1,000,000.

The fan, who is a tricycle driver showed his love for the singer by decorating his tricycle with stickers of Davido.

Instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut had uploaded the video on his Instagram page, which had drawn the attention of Davido. Flattered by his love for him, Davido had reached out to the blogger and offered to help him.

In the chat, Davido had promised to give the boy N1,000,000.

Sharing the chat online, Tunde Ednut had appealed to Nigerians to help in searching for him as the singer wishes to help him.

Davido kept to his words and blessed the fan with a million naira after he was found.

To add to it, Davido while gearing up for his concert, had replied to a die-hard fan who wanted to leave the hospital to attend his concert.

Taking to the micro-blogging platform, the fan identified as Samuel Otigba, revealed that he had begged the nurse to allow him to attend Davido’s Timeless concert after his surgery yesterday.

However, his request was turned down but they granted his second request, which was to have Davido’s song played on his hospital bed.

“I’ve begged this woman to let me go to Davido’s Timeless concert today after my surgery yesterday. Of course, you know the answer. I requested this song while anesthesia was still kicking my ass after the successful surgery. I love this song”.

Luckily for him, his tweet got noticed by Davido and the singer begged him to get rest.

Praying for him to get well soon, he reminded him that Timeless isn’t going anywhere.
