Atanda Modupe Deborah, a 200 level Nursing Student of The Federal University Oye Ekiti
(FUOYE), has been allegedly raped and buried in a shallow grave by unknown person.
According to information made available to VerseNews, it was gathered that Deborah went to class for a night reading on Monday Sept 4, 2023 and never came back.
Following the development, her colleagues launched a search for her during which her books and the materials she took to the class were discovered in a large pond.
On Wednesday, September 6, she was found buried in a shallow grave behind her faculty.
It was gathered that she sustained severe injuries on her head and there are indications that she was raped.
However, at the time of this report, no official statement from the school management.
