The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi has been officially declared winner of the presidential in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja held on Saturday February 25.

VerseNews Nigeria reports that Obi polled a total of 281,717 votes, to defeat his allies Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Party (APC) who got 90,902 and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who secured 73,743 votes.

The winning vote margin of the LP flag bearer when compared to the closet ally is 19,0815 votes.

By percentage, LP secures 61% of the total votes, APC got 20% while PDP and NNPP 16% and 1% respectively.
