APC Confirms Death Of National Welfare Secretary, Sir Friday Nwosu

The ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has on Thursday night, March 19, 2023 confirmed the death of its National Welfare secretary, Sir Friday N. Nwosu.

The ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has on Thursday night, March 19, 2023 confirmed the death of its National Welfare secretary, Sir Friday N. Nwosu.

This Online News Media gathered that Nwosu was earlier addimited to an undisclosed hospital in Abuja.

He was discharged on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 after receiving medical treatments from the hospital.

His health begins to deteriorate after a period of improvement and was rushed to the hospital where he  was confirmed death.

Reacting to the sad news, through its verified Twitter accound wrote: “RIP SIR F.N. NWOSU Words are not enough to describe the monumental loss brought by the passing of the Party’s National Welfare Secretary, Sir Friday Nwanozie Nwosu on the APC family. May his soul rest in peace.”

About His Political Life

Late Nwosu in 2015 contested for Abia State governorship election on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but lost the ticket to Ikpeazu Okezie who won the election.

Later after losing the ticket, he defected to APC ahead of the 2019 governorship election in Abia State.
