The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate has clearly stated that the Presidential Elections Tribunal (PET) is a battle to review the election process of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
VerseNews Nigeria earlier reported that Obi has gone to the Court to seek for a redress on the ground that the election results and processes lacks credibility and tranasperacy.
He also alleged that the INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu violated the rules and regulations of the commission as stated in the Electoral Act 2022.

Speaking in an interview with Arise TV on Monday, Obi said the INEC electoral process that made the All Progress Congress (APC) flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu the President-Elect.
Obi said; “Following my response to a question while appearing on Arise TV earlier today, I want to state categorically that at the Presidential Elections Tribunal (PET), I am challenging the INEC electoral process that led to the declaration of Tinubu as president-elect as well as the declaration itself,” he said.
