Pastor Jerry Eze — one of the most searched Nigerian pastors online and currently the richest YouTuber in Nigeria — has become a major trending topic after a new video of him praying intensely over Nigeria’s insecurity surfaced online.

In the viral clip, the founder of Streams of Joy International is seen crying and praying fervently for the country following the abduction of 25 schoolgirls in Kebbi and the Kwara church attack where several worshippers were killed and kidnapped.

However, instead of sympathy, the video has ignited widespread criticism, with many Nigerians insisting that religious leaders must go beyond prayers and demand real action from government authorities.

Online commentators argue that while prayer has its place, it cannot stop terrorists who continue to abduct and kill citizens across the country.

One user wrote:
