A teacher at Odomola Junior Secondary School, Epe in Lagos state who didn’t mention his name has revealed that Barinaadaa Marvelous a Jss2 student of of the school was sent home because she was campaigning among other students.
This Online News Media earlier reported that the student was reportedly sent home because she came to school with a bag bearing the poster of Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
But according to the mother, Mrs Barinaadaa said her daughter was sent out of the school because she used Obi’s poster to wrap her note book.
She wrote; “this is to inform you all, that my daughter Marvelous Barinaadaa, was exit from Odomola Secondary school today 14th March, 2023 by the school principal, just because my daughter use Peter Obi poster paper to wrap her note book for school.”
However, a recent report from one of the school teachers alleged that the 10-year-old student came to school with souvenirs and posters of LP governorship candidate and was campaigning in the school.
The teacher also said Marvelous sold some of the souvenirs to some of her fellow students in exchange of money adding that she was given the exit card by the principal to enable her continue her campaign outside the school and to resume on Monday after the governorship election.

The teacher in a chat wrote; “the student in question went to school with souvenirs and posters of LP Governorship candidate and he was campaigning among other students. Obviously, that is not ethical. Schools are not campaign ground.”
“The student is also said to have sold some of the souvenirs to other students in exchange for money.”
“As I write this, the mater has been reported to the PS Education district IV.”
“It was the Principal who gave the student an exit note when the case was reported, to enable the student continue his campaign away from school and expected to resume back to school nest Monday after election. Both the teacher and the principal need to safe their job”
