The incumbent governor of Lagos State and candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Babajide Sanwo-Olu is currently winning the State’s governorship election held on Saturday March 19, 2023.

VerseNews Nigeria reports that as it stands now, results from 19 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the 20 have been announced and Sanwo-Olu leads Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of Labour party and Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran popularly known as Jandor of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
