DHS said the register was created to highlight what it described as the “worst of worst criminal aliens” arrested by ICE.

“Under DHS leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations – starting with the worst of the worst – including the illegal aliens you see here,” the department said.

Previous List

The latest update follows a list published by DHS in July, which included 124 Nigerians arrested by ICE and identified on the department’s “Worst of the Worst” register.

The July publication contained the names and photographs of the 124 Nigerians, who were listed in connection with various criminal offences.

However, the July publication did not provide specific dates for the deportation of the Nigerians listed.

Similarly, the latest update does not provide a deportation date or timeline for any of the 10 Nigerians added to the register.

The latest list also does not state that the individuals have been deported. Instead, it identifies them as people arrested by ICE and lists the offences associated with their cases.

The 10 Nigerians named in the latest update were not among the 124 Nigerians contained in the July list.
