VIDEO: Bandits Invades Female Hostel Of Federal University Gusau, Kidnap Scores Of Students
The bandits specifically targeted the university students and did not abduct any village residents.
Bandits have reportedly kidnapped many students from the Federal University Gusau in Zamfara State.
VerseNews reports that the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, and the bandits targeted students living in off-campus residences in Sabon Gida village.
According to an eyewitness named Abubakar Sani, the bandits arrived in large numbers and attacked three student hostels.
Most of the kidnapped students were females, while some others managed to escape into the nearby bush.
The bandits specifically targeted the university students and did not abduct any village residents.
The attackers arrived at the village around 4:00 a.m. and began shooting sporadically before breaking into the student hostels and abducting several students, especially females.
