The union members have blocked entry and exit, preventing the minister from leaving.
Protesting workers at the Housing and Works Ministry have locked Minister Dave Umahi inside his office, accusing him of highhandedness.
VerseNews learnt that the minister reportedly prevented late-arriving workers from entering the ministry.
The union members have blocked entry and exit, preventing the minister from leaving.
They also allege that Umahi has hindered engineers and directors from performing their duties and has violated public service rules by bringing in consultants to oversee the ministry.
Despite their concerns, the minister has not granted them an audience, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
