England forward Marcus Rashford has returned to Manchester United for pre-season preparations after officially ending his spell at Barcelona.
The 28-year-old confirmed his departure in a post on his X account on Thursday, where he expressed gratitude to the Catalan club for what he described as a memorable chapter in his career.
Rashford thanked everyone at Barcelona for making his time at the club a positive experience and wished the team success in the upcoming season.
“I’m extremely grateful to everyone at the club for turning my time here into such a positive and unforgettable experience. I’ve loved every moment and will carry those special memories with me,” Rashford wrote.
“Wishing the club and all the fans the very best of luck and massive success this season.”
The England international now returns to Manchester United, where he will begin preparations for the new campaign as he looks to re-establish himself at Old Trafford.
Rashford’s return comes after a stint with Barcelona, during which he enjoyed regular first-team football and earned praise for his performances before heading back to his parent club for the 2026/27 season.
