The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has launched a campaign to enforce clear price display and quantity compliance at supermarkets across Abuja.

VerseNews reports that the officials from FCCPC visited multiple supermarkets in Abuja to kickstart a drive for ensuring the proper display of prices and adherence to quantity regulations.

The initiative began at 4U Supermarket in Wuse 2 on Thursday in response to consumers’ concerns about increasing prices despite the recent strengthening of the naira.

The Commission highlighted ongoing issues with price discrepancies and stressed the importance of informing consumers of accurate prices for the goods they intend to purchase.
