- Portable has challenged Terry G to a celebrity boxing match, declaring, “I want to fight Terry G. I will beat him… I want to resurrect his career,” a statement that has sparked reactions across social media.

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has challenged fellow musician Terry G to a celebrity boxing match, saying he wants the veteran artiste to be his next opponent in the ring.
Portable made the statement during an appearance on Rubbin’ Minds on Channels Television when he was asked which celebrity he would like to face in a boxing bout.
Without hesitation, the singer named Terry G as his preferred opponent. When the interviewer suggested social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) instead, Portable maintained that his focus remained on Terry G.
According to him, a fight between the two musicians would help bring the veteran entertainer back into the spotlight.
“I want to fight Terry G. I will beat him. I want to resurrect his career. If Terry G fights me one-on-one in boxing, I swear people will remember him again,” Portable said.
The comments have since sparked mixed reactions across social media, with many fans expressing surprise over the proposed celebrity showdown.
Portable has become a regular figure in Nigeria’s celebrity boxing scene, having previously fought actor Charles Okocha, singer Speed Darlington, and content creator Carter Efe.
Terry G, meanwhile, remains one of Nigeria’s most influential street music stars, known for hit songs including Free Madness, Akpako, and Run Mad.
