A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to cry out for help after alleging that she lost her entire ₦18 million life savings while trying to relocate to Canada.

According to the distraught woman, she paid a travel agent ₦18 million to process her Canadian visa application, trusting that the process would be handled professionally.

However, she claimed she later discovered that the agent had allegedly submitted falsified bank documents as part of her application without her knowledge or consent.

As a result, Canadian immigration authorities reportedly rejected her visa application and imposed a five-year ban, preventing her from applying for another Canadian visa during that period.

The woman further alleged that despite the devastating outcome, the travel agent has refused to refund the ₦18 million she paid.

“Nigerians, please come and help me. I used my entire life savings of ₦18 million to pay a travel agent to process my Canada visa, only to find out that I’ve been scammed. Canada has denied my visa and banned me for five years, and the travel agent has refused to refund my ₦18 million. My life is finished,” she said.

The video has since sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy and urging prospective travellers to thoroughly verify the credibility of travel consultants and carefully review every document submitted on their behalf before applying for visas.
