Peter Obi Affrims Julius Abure LP’s Authentic National Chairman
Obi while speaking highlighted the positive transformation witnessed in Abia state under the leadership of a capable governor.
Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate has stated publicly that Julius Abure remains the authentic national chairman of the party.
VerseNews reports that Obi made this known in Imo state at the flag-off of the campaign for the party in the state.
Obi while speaking highlighted the positive transformation witnessed in Abia state under the leadership of a capable governor.
He endorsed Athan Achonu as the sole governorship candidate for LP in Imo state.
“Abure is the national chairman of our party. We don’t have another chairman. LP will win Imo State. Athan Achonu is the only candidate of the party and he is the best in Imo State,” Obi said.
Obi further encouraged the people of the state to unite and support Achonu’s bid for the governorship, echoing a message of change and hope for Nigeria’s future.
