VIDEO: ‘Tell Your Dad to Get Me a Nigerian Passport’ — IShowSpeed Tells Seyi Tinubu at World Cup Final

• American YouTube star IShowSpeed met Seyi Tinubu and his children at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, jokingly asking, “Tell your dad to get me a Nigerian passport!” during a livestream.

American online streamer and YouTube star Darren Watkins Jr., popularly known as IShowSpeed, met Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final on Sunday.

A video from IShowSpeed’s livestream showed Seyi Tinubu, dressed in a Spain jersey, seated in the VIP section of the New York New Jersey Stadium alongside his children and other family members.

During the livestream, a man accompanying Seyi Tinubu informed the streamer that the President’s son was in attendance.

Speed walked over to greet the family, posed for photographs with the children, and exchanged pleasantries with Seyi Tinubu.

After shaking hands, Seyi Tinubu told the popular streamer, “It is nice meeting you.”

In his usual humorous style, IShowSpeed jokingly told the children, “Tell your dad to get me a Nigerian passport!”, drawing laughs before continuing his livestream.

The lighthearted moment quickly gained attention online, with fans reacting to the unexpected encounter at football’s biggest event.

The joke comes months after IShowSpeed’s widely publicised visit to Nigeria during his Speed Does Africa tour.

During his stay in Lagos, the 21-year-old content creator livestreamed visits to several iconic locations, including Lagos Island, Freedom Park and the Nike Art Gallery. He also met Nigerian music stars Davido and Zlatan Ibile and celebrated his birthday in the country.

The visit also coincided with IShowSpeed becoming the first Black content creator to surpass 50 million YouTube subscribers.
