Nollywood was thrown into mourning earlier today, Monday, 24th November 2025, following the sudden death of popular actor and comedian Odira Nwobu.

It was reported that Odira Nwobu died in South Africa after returning from a night outing. According to eyewitnesses, the actor allegedly suffered health complications believed to be linked to high blood pressure.

His death comes just months after he survived a serious accident along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, an incident that had already left many fans concerned about his wellbeing.
