Abia State Governor Dr Alex Otti has submitted a 19-man commissioner nominee list to the Abia State House of Assembly for Screening and Confirmation.

VerseNews Nigeria reports that the list includes the proposed list of Honourable Commissioners to Abia House of Assembly. Some of the current special advisers were also nominated nominated to be commissioners.

This Online News Media gathered that this is coming barrly 24 hours after Otti suspended all permanent Secretaries in all ministries, Agencies and Departments in the state.

He also suspended the state Head of Service. This is to ensure transparency in the recovery of properties stolen by previous administration.

According to the statement signed by the Governor and released on 30th June, with the title ‘FORWARDING OF PROPOSED LIST OF THE HONOURABLE COMMISSIONERS AND MEMBERS OF ABIA STATE EXCUTIVE COUNCIL’, the names are:

  2. Kingsely Anoribe
  3. Prof Eme Uche
  4. Mr. Philemon Asonye Ogbonna
  5. Mr. Mike Akpara
  6. Dr. Ngozi Okoronkwo
  7. Mr. Okey Kanu
  8. Mr. Ikechukwu Uwanna
  9. Mr Chaka Chukwumerije
  10. Mr. Uzo Nwachukwu
  11. Prof. Joel Friday Ogbonna
  12. Mr. Chima Emmanuel Ananaba
  13. Mr. Nwaobilor Nwadimma Ananaba
