Draw At Stamford Bridge After Chelsea, Liverpool Duel

Sunday’s English Premier League (EPL) fixture between Chelsea and Liverpool ended 1-1 at Stamford Bridge.
The highly anticipated weekend fixture in season opener did lived up to expectations between the two rivals but it was a repeat after three consecutive draws between the Blues and the Reds.

Fans witnessed high intensity as two goals were produced from both sides but were disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
First, it was Mohammed Salah’s goal that got the VAR judgement in the 29th minute.
The second was Ben Chilwell’s which could have given Chelsea the lead after Axel Disasi’s left footed shot from a close range to the left corner in the 37th minute.
The intensity reduced after the break as they settled for a draw.
Elsewhere, Brentford did not allow Tottenham Hotspur get a win at the Gtech Community Stadium after a four goal thriller which ended 2-2.
The last season opener action will be on Monday between Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford.
