Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has formally joined the Accord Party, days after announcing his exit from the Peoples Democratic Party.

The governor made the declaration on Tuesday at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, alongside national and state leaders of the Accord Party.

Adeleke stated that he joined the party on November 6, adding that he chose the platform after consultations with stakeholders and opinion leaders. He confirmed that he will seek a second term in 2026 on the platform of the “Thumb-Up” party.
