The House of Representatives member-elect for Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency in Taraba State, Isma’ila Maihanchi has been confirmed dead.
VerseNews Nigeria reports that Maihanchi was confirmed dead by a source in the family in the early hours of Saturday April 22, 2023.
According the source, Maihanchi who won the election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) died after a brief illness.
