VerseNews reports that the substantial lead in market capitalization highlights Dangote Cement’s dominance in the industry, even when compared to the third-largest cement producer, Lafarge Africa.
BUA Cement, approximately 10 times the size of Lafarge Africa in market capitalization, contributes significantly to the combined market valuation of the three companies, totaling around N20 trillion.
Dangote Cement’s impressive share in both market capitalization and annualized revenues (N2.8 trillion or 67%) reflects its substantial influence on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
