‘Don’t Let Me Die’ — Veteran Nollywood Actress Ngozi Nwosu Cries Out, Seeks ₦30 Million for Life-Saving Surgeries (Video)

• Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has made an emotional appeal for public support after revealing she has been hospitalised for three weeks and urgently needs ₦30 million to undergo three life-saving surgeries.

Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has made an emotional plea for financial assistance after revealing that she is battling a serious health condition that has left her hospitalised for the past three weeks.

In a heartfelt video shared on social media, the actress disclosed that she urgently needs three life-saving surgeries and appealed to Nigerians, her fans, colleagues, friends and family members to come to her aid.

Fighting back emotions, Nwosu said her condition had gone beyond what she could handle on her own.

“My people, my fans, and my family, I know that you’ve not seen me in circulation for some time. I’ve been hospitalized now for three weeks.

“Please, the thing has gone beyond my control. I need your help; don’t let me die.

“I know that you people never forsake me, and I know that God will always see me through, but I’m begging you, my friends and family, don’t let me die because I am going through a lot of pain.

“I have like three surgeries to go through. My sickness will never be anybody’s portion,” she said.

In a message accompanying the video, the actress admitted that making a public appeal for financial help was one of the most difficult decisions she had ever made but said she had no other option.

She appealed to well-meaning Nigerians to support her treatment financially and also help spread her message so it could reach more people.

“My fans, friends, family and colleagues, this was really hard for me to do, but I can’t keep quiet anymore. I need urgent life-saving surgeries.

“Please don’t scroll past. Share this post and support if you can. God bless you, and may you and yours never experience this affliction.”

Ngozi Nwosu further disclosed that she requires ₦30 million to cover the cost of the three surgeries.

She directed those willing to assist to contact her legal representative or management for further information and also shared her Moniepoint account details for donations.

The actress is one of Nollywood’s most respected veterans, with a career spanning several decades. She has featured in numerous Yoruba and English-language films and television productions, earning widespread admiration for her versatility and contributions to Nigeria’s entertainment industry.

Her emotional appeal has since sparked concern among fans and colleagues, many of whom have taken to social media to pray for her recovery and call on well-meaning Nigerians to support her during the difficult period.
