EPL Predictions As Man United, City, Face Tough Opponents

The English Premier League (EPL) resumes with yet another tougher opponent for Manchester United who managed to secure a narrow 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers last Saturday.

It was a rather an unimpressive 2023/24 start for United after struggling with Wolves nearly leveled the scoreline but were unlucky after referee’s harsh decision not award them a penalty.

Elsewhere, Manchester City look up for another EPL victory as they face a more fiercely Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium Saturday night after a deserved 3-0 victory over Burnley last week with Erling Haaland finding a brace.

City looks unstoppable after clinching their first silverware in the season winning the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla on penalties.

Pep Guardiola will do everything to defend the EPL title despite having a highly competitive last season with Arsenal.

City go up against Newcastle who have not disappointed their fans for goals.

City are favourites for a win tonight after a fantastic record from their three meetings with the Magpies. The Citizens won three with a draw raking in 10 goals so far.

The odds favoured City with 1.85 odds as against Newcastle 4.29 odds.

City are expected to win tonight’s game with their ever ready number nine striker, Haaland after putting kicking off the season with two goals against Burnley last week Friday. City should have more than one goal.

Newcastle on the other hand have more threats on goal after demolishing Aston Villa last week 5-1 at home.

With the presence Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson there is a possibility of a one goal or two from them.

Elsewhere, Fulham face Brentford this afternoon after a one goal win over Everton.

Liverpool face Bournemouth while Wolves take on Brighton and Hove Albion.
