A young Nigerian graduate whose name is Ojochenemi Akayaba has been reportedly gunned down by security operatives in Anyigba, Kogi state during the Saturday February 25 Election in Nigeria.

NewsVerse Nigeria gathered that Akayaba was killed while trying to snatch a ballot paper at a polling unit.

A source who recognized the young man said he is a fresh graduate from Kogi State University and just finished his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Program.

This Online Newspaper reports that there have cases of some persons recognized as thugs trying to snatch away ballot papers and causing panic among voters during the elction.

However, most of them where apprehended and dealt with by security operatives.
