While expressing her happiness, Rejoice did not reveal the gender of the child but emphasized the transition from being a couple to becoming parents.

However, her announcement triggered criticism from two religious critics who wrongly assumed she was already pregnant before her wedding.

One commenter, Raymond Shola, remarked, “So you married with pregnancy wow my Christian sister,” while another user added, “This story no clear. You were a month pregnant before your wedding. Congrats to you Sha.”

In response, many supporters came to Rejoice’s defense, pointing out that it had been nearly 10 months since her wedding, dispelling the notion that she was pregnant before tying the knot.
