Popular Nigerian content creators Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, have officially exchanged wedding vows at their court wedding, marking another milestone in their highly publicised love story.

A video from the civil ceremony has gone viral on social media, capturing Peller’s humorous reaction after the marriage registrar announced that anyone who breaks their marriage vows could face a minimum of five years in prison. The court wedding comes just days before the couple’s highly anticipated white wedding, scheduled for August 1, 2026. Earlier this month, Peller and Jarvis announced the date through a cinematic video shared across their social media platforms, exciting millions of followers.

The couple also recently unveiled their official pre-wedding photographs, describing them as “more than just pictures” and “memories before the big day.”

Before formalising their union, Peller completed the traditional marriage rites in Benin City, Edo State, where he met Jarvis’ family and paid her bride price.
