Popular Nigerian content creators Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, have officially exchanged wedding vows at their court wedding, marking another milestone in their highly publicised love story.

A video from the civil ceremony has gone viral on social media, capturing Peller’s humorous reaction after the marriage registrar announced that anyone who breaks their marriage vows could face a minimum of five years in prison. The moment sparked laughter among guests and quickly drew reactions online.

Other clips from the court wedding also showed the couple exchanging vows before signing the marriage register in the presence of family members and close friends. The videos have since attracted congratulatory messages from fans and fellow entertainers.

The court wedding comes just days before the couple’s highly anticipated white wedding, scheduled for August 1, 2026. Earlier this month, Peller and Jarvis announced the date through a cinematic video shared across their social media platforms, exciting millions of followers.

The couple also recently unveiled their official pre-wedding photographs, describing them as “more than just pictures” and “memories before the big day.”

Their romance, which initially generated debate online, has since grown into one of the country’s most-followed digital love stories.

Before formalising their union, Peller completed the traditional marriage rites in Benin City, Edo State, where he met Jarvis’ family and paid her bride price.

The couple’s court wedding now paves the way for their church wedding, which is expected to attract celebrities, content creators and fans from across Nigeria.
