Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) deployed in Lagos State has refused to upload the counted Governorship and States of House Assembly election results to the Result Viewing Portal (IREV) as required and state by the Electoral Act 2022.

In a viral video circulating online, sighted by this VerseNews Nigeria, voters where seen insisting that the INEC officials should upload the results using the provided Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).

The Officials didn’t state exactly the challenge for failing to upload the results. But from the statement of result, the polling unit recognized as Oshodi Isolo PU, Labour Party (LP) got 152 votes, All Progressive Congress (APC) got 34 votes while Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Got 1 vote.

This Online News Media noted that INEC promised Nigerians that election results will be counted and transmitted to the IREV portal from all the polling units but it looks like some of its officials are not complying with the directive.
