- Nollywood actor Stan Nze has sparked reactions online after declaring his love for his wife Blessing Jessica Obasi-Nze’s full figure, saying there’s “so much to hold on to”.

Popular Nollywood actor Stan Nze has won praise from fans after publicly expressing his admiration for his wife, Blessing Jessica Obasi-Nze, describing her full figure as one of the many things he loves about her.
Speaking during an appearance on The Morayo Show, hosted by Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the actor responded with humour when asked about the advantages of being married to a plus-sized woman.
“I have plenty; there’s so much to hold on to. My plates and hands are always full,” he joked, drawing laughter from the audience.
Moving beyond the lighthearted moment, Stan explained that beauty goes far beyond physical appearance, stressing that confidence, character and self-worth matter more than body size.
According to him, his wife carries herself with confidence and embraces her beauty, adding that she is much more than her physical appearance.
“The truth is it’s more than the figure and shape; there’s so much content. I’m all about looking good and beautiful,” he said.
During the interview, Blessing was also asked what advice she would give to young plus-sized women who struggle with low self-esteem or fear they may not find love because of their body size.
She encouraged women to focus on becoming people of value rather than worrying about fitting society’s beauty standards.
“It’s not about your size. Build yourself and become a woman of value. The right man will see you. A man who truly loves you will encourage you with love and care, not pressure,” she said.
Stan added that the goal of every healthy relationship or marriage is to help both partners become the best versions of themselves and grow together.
The interview quickly went viral on social media, with many Nigerians applauding the couple for promoting body confidence and healthy relationships.
However, several viewers criticised the question directed at Stan, describing it as unnecessary and insensitive.
Many social media users praised the couple for handling the conversation with grace, while others argued that society still places unfair pressure on women to conform to narrow beauty standards.
