Professor Mahmood Yakubu has assured to comply with the Labour Party’s legal team in providing the documents needed to press forward its court case and as directed by the Supreme Court.
VerseNews Nigeria earlier reported that the party’s legal team led by Dr. Livy Uzoukwu were in meeting with INEC at the Commission’s national headquarters.
Responding to their demands, Yakubu said the commission has nothing to hide adding that the needed documents available at headquarter will be released immediately.

“INEC has nothing to hide. Documents available at the HQ will be given immediately. We are meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners today and we will discuss how other documents at the state level could also be made available to you speedily,” he said.
